Unit 1: Principles of Computer Science
🖥️ Learning about the main components of the computer, such as the CPU, Main Memory and Storage Devices.
🖥️ Learning how systems software manages and maintains the function of the hardware devices and provides the user with an interface.
🖥️ Learning how systems such as binary, hexadecimal, twos complement and ASCII work. Furthermore, exploring the relationship between data representation and how images and sound are represented.

Unit 2: Computational Thinking

(1) Setting Up a Shared Directory:
👓 In this part of the lesson you will create a GCSE Computer Science Directory and share a link to this with your teacher.
💫You will save all work to this directory, ensuring it is neat and organised; as your teacher will regularly review your work in order to track your progress.
(2) Creating a OneNote document for your course notes:
📑 In this part of the lesson you will create your own OneNote document for your course notes.
This will also be shared with your teacher.
🧹This will be neatly organised as it will contain all of your lesson notes and also assessment activities.
